Founder & Clinical Director
If you’ve found your way here, chances are life has been asking a lot of you lately.
Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. Maybe you’re navigating a significant transition, carrying responsibilities that few people fully see, or simply recognizing that something needs to change.
Whatever brought you here, I’m genuinely glad you’re here.
One of the things I love most about being a therapist is having the opportunity to truly get to know people—not just the challenges that bring them to therapy, but who they are beneath them.
I love hearing people’s stories, celebrating their growth—both the big milestones and the quiet ones—helping them better understand themselves, and watching them reconnect with strengths they may have forgotten were there all along.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across crisis services, hospital settings, community mental health, and private practice. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals through some of life’s most vulnerable moments while continually reminding me of something I deeply believe: people are often far more resilient than they realize.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have completed additional training and received ongoing supervision and mentorship from psychologists, strengthening my skills in case conceptualization, evidence-informed treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
These experiences continue to shape the way I practice today, blending thoughtful clinical formulation with compassionate, relationship-centred care.
Healing can be incredibly meaningful. Sometimes, it can also be surprisingly light.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who appreciates meaningful conversations, a good cup of coffee, and the small moments that remind us to slow down and reconnect. Those same values naturally find their way into my work, creating a therapeutic space that feels warm, authentic, and deeply human.
Founding Choose Happy Therapeutic Services has been one of the greatest privileges of my career.
My vision has always been to create a specialized mental wellness practice that feels thoughtful, welcoming, and deeply personal—a place where people feel cared for not only as clients, but as whole human beings.
I know reaching out for support isn’t always easy, and I never take that first step for granted.
I genuinely love what I do, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people through some of the most meaningful seasons of their lives.
If we have the opportunity to work together, I look forward to getting to know your story, celebrating your growth, and supporting you through whatever season you’re in.
My work focuses on Women’s Mental Health, Youth & Emerging Adult Mental Wellness, Disordered Eating & Body Image, and High Performance Mental Wellness.
While every person’s journey is unique, I often work with thoughtful, caring individuals who spend so much of their energy looking after others, meeting expectations, or holding everything together that somewhere along the way, they have stopped caring for themselves with the same compassion they so freely offer everyone else.
I believe therapy is about much more than learning coping strategies or managing symptoms.
Together, we’ll take the time to understand your experiences with curiosity and compassion, exploring the patterns, relationships, beliefs, and life experiences that have shaped the way you move through the world today.
My hope is that you leave therapy not only with greater insight, but with a deeper sense of self, more confidence in your own abilities, and a life that feels more aligned with the person you want to be.
While my work is grounded in evidence-informed practice and thoughtful clinical care, I also believe therapy should feel like one of the few places in your week where you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or pretend everything is okay.
My hope is that our work together feels genuine, collaborative, and comfortable—a space where you can be yourself, celebrate your wins, navigate difficult moments, and maybe even share a laugh along the way.
